Ninnoc will be broadcasted on Dutch national television (NPO3) on 13 March 2016 at 7.28 pm.

Ninnoc is selected for ZagrebDox in Zagreb, Croatia. Consecutively, Ninnoc will be screened at BUFF (March, Sweden), ViewFinders (April, Canada), Against Gravity (May, Poland), Inconvenient Films (October, Lithuania), Filem'on (November, Brussels) and Oulu (November, Finland).

Ninnoc received a special mention at the 66th Berlinale where it was part of the official selection.

From 23 January to April 2016 Ninnoc will be screened in more than sixty Dutch movie theaters in The Best of IDFA on Tour.

Ninnoc won the award for Best Children's Documentary at the International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam (November 2016).
